The International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG) and the Primary Care Respiratory Group Sri Lanka are delighted to announce our 1st South Asian Scientific Conference run in collaboration with primary care respiratory groups from the region including Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, China, Pakistan, Indonesia, the Philippines and Nepal.
The 2017 IPCRG 1st South Asian Scientific Conference will be held from the 3rd-5th August 2017 at the Hotel Galadari in Colombo, Sri Lanka. We anticipate more than 300 leading primary care respiratory physicians and pulmonologists attending, as well as notable teachers, researchers and role models from the region and Europe. Our focus is on learning practical skills in clinical care and/or public health and research and finding solutions through case discussion.
We have invited leading global experts from our major FRESH AIR study on prevention and treatment of chronic respiratory disease in low and middle income countries as mentors and teachers.
Following our success in Singapore in 2015, we believe this can become the leading primary care respiratory scientific Conference in the South Asian region for clinicians working in real life settings. The IPCRG’s conferences are already established as the ‘premier Conference place’ for clinicians and academics committed to delivering good care, and carrying out and promoting respiratory research in primary and community settings. They provide the opportunity for colleagues to share best practice at an individual and population level to improve respiratory health.
To offer an affordable high value Conference that:
Scope: chronic and infectious respiratory diseases, respiratory symptoms such as cough, wheeze and breathlessness, multi-morbidity including mental health problems and tobacco dependence in low, middle and high income countries, organisation and care.
