Dear IPCRG colleague
EAACI Plenary
We are delighted to be partnering with EAACI to present The Team Approach to Children and Teenagers with Allergy and Asthma. Prof Patrick Bindels and Dr Kerstin Romberg will present and then discuss these issues with the audience at the end of the session. Prof Bindels, Professor of general practice and is well published in this area and is a leading member of EAACI. Dr Kerstin Romberg is a full time GP and researcher at the University of Lund in Sweden.
The session will focus on the latest research on asthma control in children and its implications for primary care, taking into account different practice settings.

Indoor pollution and clean air
Dr Raghupathy Anchala, Dr Frederik van Gemert, Prof Talant Sooronbaev and Dr
Sumi Mehta will take us through the story of The IPCRG FRESH AIR MOVEMENT: WORKING LOCALLY, COLLABORATING GLOBALLY TO REDUCE POPULATION EXPOSURE TO INDOOR AIR POLLUTION.
FRESH AIR is the “flag ship” of IPCRG research and after its start in Vietnam in 2009 it was extended to Uganda and the Kyrgyz Republic. The focus of this session will address the global challenge of biomass fuel, the most important cause of COPD worldwide. All the speakers have first-hand “field” knowledge of the project, which we hope will give us more insight how we can raise awareness, address unmet needs in research and improve the life of millions worldwide.
