As members of IPCRG you have a declared interest in improving care delivery in primary care. Currently there is much confusion around the role of Allergen Immunotherapy ( AIT) in the management, in particular, of allergic rhinitis and asthma.
EAACI has undertaken an exhaustive process to describe the current state of affairs and create guidelines based on our current understanding of AIT. There are six strands to this initiative: one of these particularly addresses the current situation in primary care; the other two, of relevance, are those for allergic rhinitis and asthma.
As part of the guideline process which they have developed, EAACI place these guidelines on the EAACI website for public comment. Comments will be incorporated in the final paper.(s) Should you wish to join in this process please proceed to
http://www.eaaci.org/resources/guidelines/ait-guidelines.html and comment on any or all the guidelines as you wish. EAACI welcomes all input until 24:00 CET on 13 June 2017.
