In a letter sent to the Portuguese Prime Minister, President of the Assembly of the Portuguese Republic; Minister for Parliamentary Affairs; Minister of Health; President of the Health Commission, over 30 signatories including the IPCRG and our Portuguese group, GRESP, urge the Portuguese government to take determined action to ensure proper implementation of the WHO's the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, in particular article 5.3, which aims to prevent public health policy-making from tobacco industry interference.

This is in response to perceived active and open participation of tobacco lobbyists at  Parliamentary meetings and sessions.
