Theophylline, usually administered orally, is an effective bronchodilator which may be used in the management of both asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). - NAC Asthma Management Handbook 2006 online edition Our Australian member, National Asthma Council Australia, NAC, published its Asthma Management Handbook 2006 in November 2006 aimed at GPs and community pharmacists, but emphasising a team approach. The revisions include
