The International Primary Care Respiratory Group's Third World Conference will be held in the Oslo, the capital city of Norway from the 8th to the 11th of June 2006. The conference venue is the prestigious Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel right in the centre of Oslo.

The Conference Organising Committee has chosen "Respiratory Disease in Primary Care - Quality of care" as the theme for this leading international event. The Conference Scientific Committee is developing a programme that will provide the opportunity for delegates to hear a broad range of topics presented as plenary sessions, symposia and a variety of workshops.

The conference venue includes all the facilities required to host an international conference both for delegates and sponsors, coupled with an excellent programme of speakers and workshop opportunities.

Not only will the Conference attract delegates with a wide range of networking and business opportunities, but it will also provide the opportunity for participants to enjoy the opportunities of Oslo and its beautiful surroundings.

The 2006 IPCRG Conference will also provide the opportunity for delegates to access details of products and information from manufacturers, suppliers and companies with an interest in the respiratory care market through an extensive trade exhibition area.

Marketing opportunities

The IPCRG 2006 World Conference will provide excellent targeted marketing opportunities for companies associated with all aspects of Respiratory Medicine. There is close liaison between the Conference Organising and Scientific Committees to ensure that the promotional and marketing needs of the sponsors will be maximised within the Conference programme. The Conference Organising Committee will also have a close dialogue with sponsors to tailor the needs of the sponsor. There are two levels of sponsorship offered with additional marketing opportunities also available.

• The Viking Guild membership package
  Maximum of six members
  This is the package offered to the main sponsors of the Conference. It gives the members unique marketing opportunities. It is an extensive package including premium location exhibition space, satellite symposia, extensive advertising space, registration bonuses for both company representatives and invited guests and invitation to sponsor reception just to mention a few of the benefits.

• The Viking Longboat member
  The spacious and modern facilities of the Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel offer excellent trade display area for numerous exhibitors. This package includes standard trade display, registration bonuses and advertising space in addition to may other benefits.

All sponsors will also have a choice of other marketing opportunities including the following:

• Sponsorship of "Conference abstracts on disc"
• Sponsorship of "Conference programme-at-a-glance "
• Sponsorship of public spirometry booth in association with the Heart and Lung foundation.
• Additional morning and evening symposia if vacant
