World Asthma Day will take place on Tuesday, May 5 2009. The idea is for national groups to use the opportunity to raise awareness in their country in whatever ways they think might work.“The theme of World Asthma Day 2009 continues the theme “You Can Control Your Asthma.” In addition, this year GINA will be encouraging a special focus on young children with asthma and communicating the message to parents that “Your Child’s Asthma Can Be Controlled.”
We have many excellent and recent resources that are relevant. It would be wonderful if IPCRG members – and others – would consider translating using and sharing these materials with primary care colleagues and making requests to us if there are additional materials that you would find helpful.
You’ll find a list below.
Meanwhile, as usual, if you are undertaking any WAD events, please do complete the WAD database, mentioning the connection to IPCRG (for example by putting IPCRG: and then the national group name).
