Recruitment of board director/trustee with governance expertise to stand for election as treasurer

Summary
The International Primary Care Respiratory Group (www.theipcrg.org) is seeking an individual with strong governance experience to co-opt to its Board of directors with immediate effect.

We anticipate that the successful applicant will use their experience on the Board to put themselves in position to stand for election as Treasurer at the 2009 Annual General Meeting when the present incumbent, Dr Ron Tomlins, stands down.

This is a very part-time role for a growing charity working in the fascinating and important field of respiratory health (asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, allergy, pandemic flu, sleep) mainly conducted by email and teleconference with the likelihood of one face-to-face meeting a year normally somewhere in Europe (expenses would be paid).
